Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!

I’ve been told I have suffered trauma, and should rest as much as possible until at least Tuesday of Bright Week. I’ve therefore been advise by my doctor not to serve any further services, including the Paschal Liturgy, until I’ve recovered. We are fortunate to have Hieromonk Paul, so we’ll still be able, as a monastic community, to usher in the celebration of Christ’s Holy Resurrection with the Paschal Liturgy!

I have also been told I need to give my brain a chance to heal, and to stay away from the laptop screen. My next postings, blogs, and podcasts, will therefore be put off until sometime in Bright Week.

With love in Christ,
Abbot Tryphon

  10. My dearest Very Rev. Abbott Tryphon ~ although I am still stunned by the news of the malicious attack on you, it awakens us to the reality that the devil never sleeps or takes a day off. I prayerfully thank our Heavenly Father for saving you. Be patient in your healing for there is still much for you to do here in this life. I am writing from Alberta, Canada and although I have only been privileged to your daily offering for about a year now, I do not imagine any other means by which I can sustain, my focus on faith, in small, daily morsels, that you so graciously share with us. As we made the journey to Pascha and now celebrate the glorious resurrection of our Lord and Savior, may we remember to be vigilant in our prayerful thanks to “HIM” and the amazing gifts he sends us,
