  1. Abbot Tryphon, you are a rare gift of faith, fervor and calmness in the face of very difficult times. That so many people are being drawn back to the Bible is evident all around us. Fyi, many Catholics and Christians are following Fr. Mike Schmitz’s Bible in a Year podcast/youtube by Ascension Press. He started reading Genesis, Job and Psalms back in January but anyone can start with Day 1. He not only reads the Scripture but says a prayer of gratitude for the word of God and explains the background and history as to what is taking place. Currently, we are reading Jeremiah and Ezekiel which are difficult books. Again, for those who don’t want to read alone and need some help with Numbers, Deuteronomy, Kings, etc. anyone can start on Day 1 and follow in your own Bible.

  2. Amen Father! If someone says to me “I haven’t heard God speak” I’ll tell them “pick up a Bible and read”.
Most important for proper grounding, and – especially in these times -“ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear” 1 St. Peter 3:15

    Blest day , Father.
